The kids experience at Heritage Resorts

At Heritage Resorts, childhood is celebrated with purpose. Nestled in the heart of Bel Ombre, our 5-star resorts offer more than just sun and sea, they’re home to immersive, nature-inspired experiences where children can play, learn, and grow in the most enchanting ways.

A world of discovery

Discover the Timomo Kids Club at Heritage Le Telfair

Both at Heritage Le Telfair and Heritage Awali, the Timomo Kids Clubs provide safe, stimulating spaces for children aged 3 to 11. Days unfold with crab discovery walks, tortoise meet-and-greets, cooking workshops, science labs, and even Sega dance classes. As night falls, the magic continues with cinema under the stars, pajama parties, and stargazing adventures.

Each activity is designed to connect young minds with the island’s culture, biodiversity, and traditions, offering a truly meaningful holiday experience.

Mealtime becomes playtime

Kids eating at the Timomo Kids Club

Housed within the Timomo Kids Club at Heritage Le Telfair, this dining area transforms meals into joyful, hands-on experiences. Children savour familiar favourites like pasta, bol renversé and samoussas at lively cooking stations, and unleash their creativity with cupcake decorating and fruit salad bars. The space is bright, welcoming, and made just for them.

Dive into imagination

The Yellow Submarine themed activity for kids

At Heritage Awali, little ones can explore the Yellow Submarine, a colourful, imaginative space that introduces them to the marine world through creative play. It’s learning without effort, guided by storytelling, art, and curiosity.

Heritage Marine Education Centre, nature as a classroom

The Heritage Marine Education Centre

Just steps from the sea, the Heritage Marine Education Centre invites kids and families to discover Mauritius’ marine ecosystems through guided beach walks, hands-on exhibits and lagoon explorations. Led by marine biologists, these activities are designed to instil wonder and a sense of responsibility for the natural world.

A passport to sustainability

Children learning about sustainability in fun and engaging ways

Through the Petit Écolo booklet, children learn about sustainability in fun and interactive ways. As they explore Bel Ombre’s treasures, from mangroves to heritage gardens, they collect stamps, complete challenges and become little eco-ambassadors.

A garden of their own

Children watering vegetables in a fun gardening activity

At the Kids Club potager, young guests help tend to herbs and vegetables, learning about seasonal growing and the value of nurturing the Earth. It’s a small garden with a big message: sustainability starts with simple, hands-on action.

Art as a playground

Sapna at the Timomo Kids Club

At the Timomo Kids Club of Heritage Le Telfair, Local artist Sapna brings colour to the kids’ world with vibrant murals and engaging workshops. From painting to collage, she encourages young creatives to express themselves while celebrating Mauritian culture through art.

Over at Heritage Awali, another artistic gem adorns the Kids Club walls: a lively mural by Guillaume St Flour, a rising local talent. His artwork pays tribute to Mauritian childhood by featuring Tikoulou, the beloved character who has captured the hearts of generations. Full of colour and life, this mural adds a touch of tenderness and local pride to the space, turning it into a canvas of shared stories and joyful memories.

At Heritage Resorts, kids don’t just have fun they flourish. Through carefully curated activities that blend joy with purpose, we create unforgettable family holidays rooted in culture, nature, and connection.

Let the adventure begin.
