La Réserve Golf Links celebrated its international championship debut by hosting the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open from 14th to 17th December 2023, a tournament that culminated in the spectacular victory of Louis Oosthuizen, one half of the legendary design duo alongside Peter Matkovich. This event unveiled an extraordinary golfing drama, showcasing the only modern links course in the Indian Ocean as a masterpiece of exceptional golf architecture. Seamlessly integrated with the breathtaking natural landscapes, it provided a dynamic and memorable golfing spectacle, further elevated by Oosthuizen's triumphant performance.

The AfrAsia Bank Open is a co-sanctioned Order of Merit tournament on the Sunshine and DP World Tours.
It will be a 72-hole (4-day) stroke play Championship with 18 holes. Play will follow the Rules of Golf of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, the PGA Sunshine Tour, European Tour, and Asian Tournament Rules.
