New on the lunch menu : the Garden Walk Picnic, freshly created by Le Château’s Chef, which is a unique experience, made up of typical Mauritian flavours and dishes with the inevitable homemade bread, the very tasty gateaux piments salad, an assortment of seasonal fruits and a variety of homemade lemonades. A perfect picnic to be enjoyed in the gardens of the property.

Other menus are also available for lunch with a choice of ‘’à la carte’’ tastings, with four or five-course, using a unique terroir. Sometimes sweet, sometimes full-bodied, the meals are nevertheless copious and will delight the taste buds of the guests.

Visitors of Le Château can discover the art of living in Bel Ombre through a typical lunch in the gardens, a gastronomic dinner under the varangue, a wine tasting in the unmissable cellar, a sundowner in front of a spectacular view or even a night in Le Château Suite. We invite you to come and experience a poetic, tasty and refined interlude by tasting the delights of the Bel Ombre region in an enchanting setting,” he adds.
The chef will ensure the perfect marriage between nature, pleasures of the table and products from the region, by proposing heart palm, a rustic version of venison curry or tuna, caught in the Indian Ocean. On the sweet side, grandma’s papaya will accompany these dishes and enhance them with its unique flavours, which are sure to amaze gourmets.

At the end of the day, it is difficult not to be tempted by the sunset experience, as the deck of Le Château and its gardens are perfectly suited to it. Sip a cocktail or a drink in front of the breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean and the golf course, a sight worth seeing!
