1. Golf Academy
Heritage Golf Club has its own academy, which aims at teaching golf to young residents in partnership with SNAG® (Starting New At Golf). Your children will surely enjoy the interactive and fun learning approach, which will enable them to understand golf and play as they would normally do. That will be a lot of fun for sure!
2. Frederica Nature Reserve
Destination: the 1,300-hectare nature reserve of Frederica for a bunch of outdoor activities. They range from 4X4 and buggy rides to discover the forest wildlife with your family, to a special kid’s safari including fishing, a picnic and nature observation.
3. The Club’s shack
At the mini-club, a real shack awaits your little ones. They will enjoy this secret little refuge of theirs as they snuggle against plump cushions to read, play, hide or rest.
4. The Kids’ Spa
Heritage Awali’s hotel spa has a treatment room for children only, where they are indulged with treatments such as henna tattoos, miniature hand and foot rituals and facials. Once a week, children visit the spa with the mini-club’s monitors and leave their painted handprints there.
5. Cooking classes
Your kids will become young cooks thanks to the cooking workshop “Ti Chef”. During the class, which is held by Heritage Resorts’ Chefs at Heritage Le Telfair’s restaurant Annabella’s, they will learn to make scrumptious desserts or original sandwiches along with their new friends.
6. Picnic in the Château’s gardens
Once a week, children are taken to the gardens of the Château de Bel Ombre for an alfresco snack. First, they will play hide-and-seek and other popular games before sitting on the grass for a delicious picnic.
7. The Shell Museum
Little ones will be amazed and enchanted by the Shell Museum, which houses nearly 7,000 seashells from Mauritius and elsewhere. From tiny specimens to huge ones, there is no way such wealth and beauty would leave them indifferent.
8. Private coaching
Tennis, golf, kitesurf, diving… You can book private lessons with a professional coach to teach your children a new sport or help them improve in their favourite sport.
9. Games at the C Beach Club
In addition to the boathouse activities, which include pedal boat, kayaking or snorkelling, kids have access to a mini-golf, adventure ropes and table tennis at the C Beach Club.
10. Mini-club’s activities
All these leisure activities are possible thanks to the Timomo Kids Club and its monitors, who stand by your children during their whole stay and treat them to a wide range of animations, from movie nights to shell hunting, bat watching, DIY, painting, archery, coconut tasting and many more!
