The Domaine de Bel Ombre welcomed a wedding worth the greatest Bollywood movies for three whole days, from June 13th to 15th, 2014. The couple was dreaming of a celebration to be remembered and Heritage Resorts offered them one of the greatest moments of their lives.
Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort was fully privatised for the wedding so as to welcome more than 450 guests. Big teams were appointed for the occasion including, 40 external Chefs, 95 Chefs and cooks of Heritage Resorts, South Africans bartenders, 60 students of the hospitality school of Mauritius, 60 employees of Impact Production and hundred other employees of Heritage Resorts. Some guests arrived on June 12th and met for a brunch around Heritage Le Telfair heated pool but the event really started the day after.

Brunch at Gin’ja restaurant – Heritage Le Telfair
June 13th, 2014. The first highlight of this day was the welcoming brunch at Gin’ja, the pan-Asian and adults’ only restaurant of Heritage Le Telfair, which went yellow and green for the occasion. Guests enjoyed the beautiful beach, chilling on comfortable beanbags which was scattered on the sand, and tried acidulous cocktails so as to start the day smoothly.

The second highlight of the day was the beach party at the C Beach Club, which is the place to be for this kind of event. A lounge atmosphere, seating areas dug in the sand, torches and lanterns were just perfect for an evening under the stars, lulled by the murmur of the ocean.
Mehendi and Sangeet
The Mehendi ceremony in the gardens of Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort
June 14th, 2014. The bride and the groom, followed by their guests, left the white sand for the gardens and the Mehendi ceremony. Saying goodbye to the bright colours and blue tones of the day before, they enjoyed spring colours, pink and fuchsia as well a beautifully flowered setup.
“La Place du Moulin” under the moonlight hosted the sanjeet.
In the evening, the Sangeet was hosted at La Place du Moulin, a former sugar factory located in the heart of Domaine. That night, under the moonlight, the site combined its rather rustic nature to the luxury decor in place. On a big stage with sound and lights, friends and families performed dances and songs in honour of the young couple.

June 15th, 2014. The day started with the Hindu wedding at La Place du Moulin. The place was completely different for the big day and took on light and fresh colours. Last event but not least, the gala dinner was held at Le Château de Bel Ombre, in its beautiful gardens. The emblematic place of the Domaine de Bel Ombre was sublimated by lights, making the place more than magic. The dinner took place under a giant marquee, around the fountain of le Chateau and with 18 huge chandeliers hanging. The stage welcomed Indian celebrities such as Mika Singh, DJ Jasmeet, Nadia Ali, Sameer and DJ Gaurav Dadgaonkar.
Challenge overcame by Heritage Resorts which is ready to accept new ones and waits for brides and grooms to impress!
