Olivia Zacharias, with over 20 years of experience in prestigious hotel groups both in Mauritius and internationally, has taken up the role of Hotel Manager at this five-star resort, set in the heart of Bel Ombre’s pristine natural surroundings. Renowned for her inclusive and unifying leadership style, Olivia has a remarkable ability to unite talent across all levels of an organisation, fostering a shared sense of purpose and driving collective success, making her a true asset to Heritage Le Telfair.
A global hospitality career
Of Indian origin, Olivia Zacharias graduated from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development in New Delhi. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, complemented by several specialised diplomas in hotel operations, service management, and sales and marketing. Over her career, she has worked with leading hotel groups including The Oberoi, Taj Hotels, Raffles, Sofitel, and Constance Hotels & Resorts. Her expertise spans hotel management, team leadership, and the creation of exceptional guest experiences. With a cross-departmental approach, she combines operational excellence with strategic vision and meticulous attention to detail.
