1. Heritage Golf Club, an eco-conscious course: This 18-hole championship golf course was designed without deforestation or creation of artificial ponds. Irrigation comes exclusively from the collection of rainwater and runoff, 50% of the fertilisers used are 100 % organic and weeding is done with untreated coarse salt.

Frederica Nature Reserve: Spreading over 1300 hectares and rising up to 550 meters above the sea level, the Nature Reserve home to a unique biodiversity of flora and fauna and several endemic species. The Frederica Nature Reserve is an endemic forest preserved by Heritage Resorts and the Domaine de Bel Ombre in association with the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation.
